MANILApito 777 gaming, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rescued two Filipinos and a Korean aboard a distressed yacht off Lubang in Occidental Mindoro on Wednesday.
In a report on Thursday, the PCG said its substation received information about the yacht that drifted into “shallow, rocky waters” near Barangay Binakas last November 11 due to inclement weather.

Article continues after this advertisement“Preliminary investigations revealed that the yacht had departed from Puerto Princesa, Palawan, bound for Subic, Zambales. En route, the crew encountered severe weather, including strong winds and large waves, which caused the vessel to drift into shallow, rocky waters near Barangay Binakas,” the agency said.

All three were safely evacuated from the vessel after the PCG conducted a search and rescue operation.
